Holy Angels Convent
Holy Angels Convent is a very old institution with convents in many places all over India. They have an extensive education program with many large schools and a large social welfare program. In Trivandrum the school has more then 6000 pupils and the institution is also running an orphanage for about 30 girls. If there is any chance to place a needy child in a family they do so or support the child within their own environment. To sponsor a child from Holy Angels Convent can in some cases help the family to remain intact and avoid family splitting. The children sponsored via Holy Angels Convent usually are little older, 10-20 years and most of them are girls who need help for their education and marriage.
